Plate Party

Tonight I am holding a "Make-A-Plate" party at my friend's house. I bring all my stamps and inks and guests choose a design and stamp up a piece of specialty paper. Afterwards, I send off all the stamped papers to a company called Makit, Inc. Makit processes the papers into melamine plates (and bowls and trays). It's a really fun craft night and the projects that are completed really turn out cute. Most everyone makes personalized plates (and bowls and trays) for their kids. This is probably my 5th Make-A-Plate party, and there's always a big turnout.

Oh....looks fun....I would love to play! Too bad you decided you needed to live 2 states away! I think you should consider relocating! :)

I was wondering if this company has a website that I can check out. How long does it take to get your creations back? About how much does it cost to make? I have a brother in law who is single, and has everything he needs. We have his name for Christmas this year. So this would make a perfect gift if my kids drew pictures for him or stamped a picture for him and wrote him a little note. I am a fellow CTMH sister, and enjoy your artwork. Thank you for sharing.
