Happy Everything

The final card for my card workshop... using up some old "Let's Get Together" paper. This one required a lot of cutting, but it was worth it!

Supplies: Cranberry, Garden Green, Buttercup, Breeze and Colonial White cardstock. Let's Get Together paper packet, Silver brads, "With Love" stamp set (June 2008 Stamp of the Month). Cranberry, Breeze, and Garden Green stamp pads.

Another Workshop Card

I really like the Boom-Di-Ada papers by CTMH. This card was made with the "Creative Basics" packet, which is a packet of multiple sheets of 2 paper designs. I originally got it for some wedding shower invitations, but the paper is also perfect for a card workshop. The little circle was cut with the Coluzzle circle template. The ric-rac ribbon is great because it doesn't need to be tied into a knot or bow like most other ribbons, which makes it a little easier to work with. I used the new Originals card making/layout book for this card's design.

Supplies: Hollyhock, Buttercup, White Daisy, and Sweet Leaf cardstock, Boom-Di-Ada Creative Basics paper, gold brads, Coluzzle circle template, August Stamp-Of-The-Month "Today's Date". Hollyhock ric-rac ribbon. All supplies CTMH.

A Little Thanks...

I've been working hard today preparing for my card workshop tomorrow. I haven't had a workshop in a while, so I'm excited to do it again. So... here's one of the cards we're making tomorrow night. I really like the way it turned out... which is not always the case when I'm making cards!

Supplies: Colonial White cardstock, Silhouette Creative Basics paper packet, white hemp, "Solos-t" stamp set, October 2008 Stamp of the Month "Annotations" (you're getting a sneak peak - HA!), Black and Bamboo stamp pads. All supplies are CTMH.

New Fun Stuff!

This week I received 2 shipments from CTMH... one was a package of accessories that I received for keeping my website subscription for a year and the other was an order of regular supplies. The accessories are fabulous! I got all kinds of ribbon, fibers and embellishments.

The second shipment was supplies... included was the NEW Originals for card-making. It has gorgeous pictures and great card layouts. I can't wait to use it!

Man Cards

I probably send out more girly birthday cards than I do man cards, but I always seem to find myself thinking... "I need a man card for _____'s birthday!". I never have one in my stash, so I always have to make it up, and it's usually the day before their birthday (LOL--I never seem to be ontime!). Anyway, here are a few Man Cards I have made this year. Baby Shower Favors

I made these earlier this year for Beth's baby shower. I bought small (2x2x2 inch) clear boxes to hold candy, covered them with stamped images and tied up a ribbon around them. Beth and the guests loved them!

I feel compelled...

Well, now that my dear friend Misty has linked my blog to hers... I feel compelled to post SOMETHING. So here's a card I made recently, for my husband's grandmother's birthday (she's 90!!!).
