Princess Head

Just the other night my husband was out for the evening, so I took my daughter to the local Chick-Fil-A for dinner. It was "Family Night" which means some kind of free, fun activity and that night it was face painting. Vanessa loves anything princess, so of course she chose the princess crown for her face paint! I love my little princess!

March Swap Card

The card swap group met again this past weekend. We had lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe near the Galleria. The menu is HUGE and the food is pretty darn good! The inside of the restaurant is large with plenty of seating and a bit opulent. They accomodated our group of 14 at 11am (opening time) with no problems at all. It was a fun place to meet for brunch.

The theme for this month's swap was Spring cards. I broke out the Bunny Love stamp set and went to work. Here's what I came up with:

All supplies from CTMH (unless otherwise noted)
Stamps: Bunny Love, True Friends, Reminisce
Paper: Sorbet cardstock, Colonial White cardstock, Cocoa cardstock, Unforgettable Level 2 Paper Packet, Key To My Heart Paper Packet (retired)
Inks:Sorbet, Cocoa, Juniper
Embellishments: Dimensional Elements - Perennials, Designer Ribbon Rounds Sorbet Collection, Designer Ribbon Rounds Colonial White Collection, Watercolor Pencils & Blending Pen, 3D Foam Tape, Sponges
Other: Brown gingham ribbon

Swap Card

Recently, I joined a group of local ladies who swap hand-made cards. Once a month we meet at a local restaurant for brunch or lunch and to swap. It's really fun to meet some new gals and talk about papercrafting - something we all love. Here is my contribution for last month, my first time to participate. I had seen some of the girls' artwork before this swap, so I *knew* that this card had to be good. I had to make 15 of these and it took a while because several of the elements were cut out by hand - no punches or die cuts here!

All supplies from CTMH
Stamps: Connections, Priceless Love Word Puzzle
Paper: Colonial White cardstock, Black cardstock, Silhouette Creative Basics (retired), Jingle Level 2 Paper Packet
Inks:Tulip, Black
Embellishments: Designer Ribbon Rounds Black Collection, Clear Sparkles, Red sparkles (retired), 3D Foam Tape
