Autumn/Winter New Product Blog Hop!

It's time to lauch the ALL NEW Close To My Heart Autumn/Winter Idea Book!

As a celebration, a bunch of CTMH consultants have all gotten together to do a Blog Hop. It's where you hop from one blog to another, enjoying wonderful artwork featuring new products from the Autumn/Winter Idea Book. If you have come here from Dawn Ross's blog then you are in the right place!

My creation uses the new Mistletoe Creative Basics and it is a design from the Wishes card-making "how-to" book. The design used is "Gallery" from page 119. The sentiment on the front is stamped in both New England Ivy and Cranberry and paper pieced. The words are popped up with dimensional foam tape. The sentiment is from the new St. Nick stamp set and the little snowflakes on the scallops are from the new Snow Days stamp set. I used the corner rounder punch to create the strip of scallops.

Country Boy

As you may have read in some of my earliest posts, my brother is a farmer. So, I always try to come up with some kind of farm-themed card for his birthday. His birthday was back in June and I'm just now getting around to posting this. Boy, the summer sure has gotten away from me! Anyway, here's the card I made for him. The yellow stuff is supposed to be wheat, which is one of the crops that he grows. I used the small swirly branch image from the Over the Rainbow stamp set in first and second generation stamping to make "rows" of wheat and then cut them out. I just slightly overlapped them when putting them on the card.
